2. Express Avenue Mall Chennai: Express Avenue is the recent addition to the city, opened in the year 2010 by the chief minister of the state. It is a very huge mall with the space of 2,000,000 square feet. The promoter of this mall is Express Infrastructure, the Indian Express group subsidiary. It is the second largest mall in the South India. The parking space can even have a room for 2000 vehicles at a time, without any problem. It is estimated that building this oomph mall has cost about 750 crores. It has food court, eight screen multiplex, coffee shops, entertainment zone, anchor stores, and gourmet supermarket.
3. Ampa Skywalk Mall: Located in Aminjikarai, it is one of the famous hubs for shopping and entertainment. PVR Cinema has opened its multiplex in this mall with 7 screens. Other shops include Tata Star Bazaar, Landmark, huge Westside shop, and other apparel shops. KFC, The body shop, Mc Donalds, and Giordano are other famous and major shops present in this mall. Also, as a specialty it has 20 room skywalk boutique hotel inside the mall. The tariff of the single bedroom is Rs. 3000 and for the double bedroom is Rs. 4000.
